Locks of Love

I took Kinsey to get her hair cut yesterday for her Locks of Love donation.
This picture was taken two weeks ago, but it's the best one I have to show off how long her hair was.

Getting it sectioned off so it was easier to cut.

I had a VERY proud (and tearful) moment when we were all discussing where her hair would be going, and why she was donating it.

She told Tracy it was going to Locks of Love and that it would make a wig for someone like her mommy with cancer but with no hair.

She got a little tearful when the first ponytail was cut off.  I asked her if she was okay, and she responded, "Yes, but this is shocking."  Tracy (along with all the other stylist working) assured her it looked beautiful and that she was such a brave girl to do something so special for someone else.

Starting to style it.

Note Tracy's haircut...someone else's ends up very similar.

My gorgeous (way too grown up) Kinsey.  When did she get so big?!

She looks quite a bit older with that haircut, but it looks really cute.
